RIG is a two-minute, one-mechanic prototype. Drive out to a glowing part. Sit on it for a second and it bolts itself on. Every part changes both how you move and how you live, and the game shows it back to you.

• Wheel - light and quick, adds no heat.
• Plate - some warmth for the weight, no speed.
• Heater - lots of warmth, heavy, drags your speed down.

Each night the cold asks for more warmth. Load too much and you stop reaching the next part in time. That is the whole game.
